This series takes place outdoors and promotes overall wellness through the practice of Yang Style Tai Chi, an ancient Chinese art that blends exercise with stress reduction. Each week will include a warmup, followed by low-impact Tai Chi movements necessary to learn the entire Yang Style Traditional Form. This series is a unique opportunity to focus on both the body and mind, as you are outdoors surrounded by both art and nature. Each class builds upon previous lessons and a review of past lessons occurs at the beginning of each class. Don’t be discouraged if you miss a class, staff will ensure you aren’t left behind and are able to learn the complete Sun Style 98 Traditional Form. No experience needed, safe for all ages. Admission to GFS is included, so stay to enjoy the grounds!
