New York Botanical Garden (Bronx, NY) Thursday, May 9th Visiting the New York Botanical Garden is an amazing and inspiring experience. Join us this day as we take in the beauty of the gardens and plant collections across this 250-acrea oasis. Participants can take a self-guided tour and view NYBG's current exhibition of acclaimed Spanish artist, Manolo Valdés: Monumental Sculpture, featuring seven towering works of art inspired by the relationship between art and nature. The Barnes Foundation (Philadelphia, PA) Thursday, June 20th Explore the newest Barnes Foundation location with a self-guided tour of the contemporary and non-Western exhibitions. Experience the unique way its founder, Albert Barnes, experimented with the display of his collection, arranging (and rearranging) the works in ensembles and symmetrical wall compositions, all organized according to the formal principles of light, line, color, and space. MEMBERS ADVENTURES TRIPS
On January 24 - 28, 2013, GFS hosted its first Members Adventures Trip to Key West, Florida. Here are some of the highlights. Keep a lookout for future opportunities!
