Join us for the public opening of our Spring/Summer 2012 Exhibition Season featuring the biggest news of the season, Ming Fay's brazenly playful and brightly hued installation, Canutopia, in our new East Gallery. Other main galleries feature the creative genius and innovation of three artists who are breaking conventions in very different ways and in very different mediums. Sharon Engelstein, in an exhibition titled True or False, will wow audiences with her colossal inflated nylon sculptures. Willie Cole'sE Pluribus Unum uses discarded everyday items such as hundreds of ladies shoes to spell out his surprisingly probing visions, and Marilyn Keating'sNatural Curiosities presents fanciful objects that reveal her fascination with nature as encountered in everyday life. Finally, through June 6 in its Education Gallery, GFS hosts The Impact of Art, sponsored by the NJ Progressive Center for Independent Living, which shares through artwork the unique perspective of persons with disabilities.
Tour our beautiful park from the perspective of Tom Moran, our Chief Curator and Director of Artistic Development. This tour, full of fascinating details and behind-the-scenes stories, is sure to give you a new insight.
