Rat’s Restaurant
Grounds For Sculpture’s fine dining destination, serves gourmet cuisine in an atmosphere of casual elegance. Conceived as part of sculptor J. Seward Johnson’s Impressionist series, Rat’s Restaurant overlooks sculptures in the park as well as a lily-pond and bridge inspired by the paintings of French Impressionist Claude Monet. The Peacock Café at Grounds For Sculpture, is located in the Domestic Arts Building. The self-service café offers a casual lunch menu for dining indoors or outside in the courtyard.  Our menu includes sandwiches, salads, soups, and pizza.  Wine and beer are also available.  During the winter season, our menu changes frequently.  To visit The Peacock Café main page, please click here.

10am - 4pm Tues - Sun
10am - 5pm Fri - Sun
(Kitchen closes at 4pm)

The Gazebo is open during the warmer months of the year. Overlooking the water lily pond and surrounded by willow trees, it offers a beautiful, tranquil setting to enjoy a beverage or light snack. Hours are weather permitting.

Sorry, no outside food is permitted into the park.
